The following is a completely naturalistic conclusion about what happens after death: In the same way the birth of a brain caused a Self (you) - because there will be brains born (in the universe) after you've ceased to exist, and they will also cause Selfs - one of those new Selfs will come after the current Self (you). [I did post here about this before, but I wanted to make a new post about it because this is a much more concise version]

I agree with what you are saying but after reading it a few time I dont quite understand your claim of what happens after death for an individual who dies.
To say a person's death will be followed by new life is quite obvious & doesn't answer the question of what becomes of the dead person. What happens to their soul, their spirit, their energy? Are you saying that if the circle of life continues, then the person will be "reborn" or reincorporated into a new body & mind similar to the basic idea of reincarnation?
How do you know the birth of a brain caused a 'self'? Is it because you don't remember anything before that or is there science that links the 'self' to the brain? It is hard to know if there is a 'self' before birth because no one has interacted with a self before birth and told us conclusively.
